Modelling likely impact from proposed household food waste interventions

Building on the collaboration with industry and data generated from the Fight Food Waste CRC project ‘Designing effective interventions to reduce household food waste’, an exciting opportunity exists for a PhD student to contribute towards developing a Household Simulation Model to assist in understanding impacts of interventions. The research will provide policy-relevant insights and recommendations to a range of stakeholders involved in household food waste reduction interventions.

The successful student will be supervised by a team from Central Queensland University led by Dr Jay Ananda. The student will be part of a team responsible for completing a Fight Food Waste CRC project currently being developed which includes funding from State Governments in Australia.
